Sorry, we didn't take any pictures yesterday. We wound up going to the beach and swimming all morning. The water was warm enough that even Amy got in. It felt weird for me to be the one to suggest that we should get out of the water before getting too sunburned. Later that afternoon we all went to the small pool in our condoplex. The water was warm, so it wasn't as great as we'd hoped. It's staggeringly hot- somewhere in the 90s with 70-80% humidity. The heat index said it felt like 101, though I'll take a Livermore 101 over this humidity any day.
Amy and I woke up early, but I'm feeling better about the time change. I wasn't going to get up early, but there was a huge rain storm. It felt good to stand in the shelter of the porch and see the rain. I can't remember the last time I've seen warm rain. Our storms back home only come in winter so its always miserable. I'm hoping this rain breaks up the humidity for a little while and cools things off.
