After the park we drove to Aughnanure Castle on the other side of town. This is a Tower House kind of castle, built in the 1500s. The main building was in good shape and had four floors to it. We liked this place because they let use roam around and see things on our own without a guide.

When we were finishing up, Amy got word that Dave's family was done with the garden tour they were doing elsewhere, and were heading over. We decided to have Benjamin and Louis serve as lookouts for their arrival. When Louis spotted them, we all ran off and hid in different places in the castle. I chose poorly and was the first person discovered. I accidently spoiled Benjamin's hiding spot because I didn't realize Gus was following me. It was still fun though. They should open these places up to nerf gun wars.
