Thankfully, our boat guy returned at the proper time and took us back to the shore. When we got back he asked for 90 euro (Amy had thought it would be 50, me 100).

We reminded him to tell us the second part of the story. I'm not sure we really understood the story, as he said multiple points in time had intersected in his original story, and that he was seeing people from long ago. It made me remember that the tv show Dark should be starting back up this month.

The guy almost didn't finish his story because Dave had filmed part of it. I can understand that, but the guy was more sharp than he needed to be with us. Some other tourists asked if he knew if the fish they saw were carp and he replied "Yes I do." Dunno. Makes me think of Fight Club "How's that working out for you? What..? Being clever."
